Starmus Festival is a celebration of science and the arts with presentations and performances from the most influential scientists and musicians on the planet, including a selection of Nobel Prize winners. Professor Stephen Hawking writes: “Starmus is an important and very unique interdisciplinary festival of people working in different fields — astronomers, astronauts, cosmologists, physicists, philosophers, musicians, artists, biologists etc., who share an interest in the universe, how it began and is now and how we may explore and use its many facets.”
Norway’s scientific and cultural capital, Trondheim, is the destination for the fourth festival this June 18-23, 2017. The festival will explore life and the universe through fascinating talks, debates, panel discussions and events. Professor Stephen Hawking will grace the Starmus stage as keynote speaker, and the Starmus advisory board consistsof the festival’s Founder Garik Israelian, Stephen Hawking, Brian May, Peter Gabriel and Richard Dawkins, who have together devised an incredible programme.
